ENTEL-AUDITS, INC. (fka: Intel-Audits, Inc.) was founded in 1992 as a performance based utility/telecommunications auditing firm that specializes in reducing client overhead in Electric, Gas, Water & Sewer, and Telecommunications.
Entel-Audits, Inc. is headquartered in Augusta, Georgia and has a branch office in Richmond, Virginia.
History
Entel-Audits was founded as a sole proprietorship in 1992. The company was initially located in Fayetteville, NC (1992-1996). In 1996 the company was incorporated and moved to Augusta, GA. Shortly thereafter Entel-Audits (EA) established satellite offices in Florida and Virginia. EA’s services, with the exception of a few value added services, has not changed since its inception.
Despite several attempts, by energy companies, to acquire EA (the most prominent being the vaulted giant Enron) or to contractually obligate EA as a broker, our company has resisted these relationships and remains unilateral brokers of our clients. In this way our integrity and commitment, to our clients, remains unwavering.
In the 1990’s EA participated, as an educator, in the movement to deregulate the electric industry. Part of this effort included speeches, on the issue, by our President (ie. Leonard Pulley) and participation in forums (including an important pro-con forum, in Raleigh NC. Included on the panel, in this forum, were representatives from Duke Power, Progress Energy - fka: CP&L, and other power companies). As a result of the deregulation movement, electric companies downsized (streamlining their workforce) as they positioned themselves to operate in a competitive market. During this period EA was approached by power companies to consult them on customer relationships. However, EA again rejected these offers for fear of a conflict of interest between its clients and the power companies, thereby electing to remain unilaterally committed to its clients.
Over the past 17 years, EA has developed highly sought after (copyrighted) software programs that are instrumental in discovering and implementing the millions of dollars in refunds and savings achieved, for our clients, over the years.
In 1999, EA, already active throughout the U.S., expanded its area of operations to include international audits.
Today, EA has established itself as one of the premier providers of utility and telecommunications audits.
